Fresh, fruity, with a slight bitterness and gentle spiciness - the Jungle Bird plays with contrasts. Instead of pineapple, cocoa fruit juice gives it a gentle freshness, fine acidity and a slightly creamy texture. Lime enhances the citrus notes, while our rum sets the base with warm spice and chocolate tones. The Amaroo adds structure and depth with herbs, cinchona bark and orange zest.
Pleasant acidity, a velvety sweetness, followed by a subtle tart note that lingers for a long time. A cocktail with depth that remains surprisingly soft and has an almost creamy finish. Sometimes lively, sometimes elegant, always exciting. And while it dances on the tongue, we ensure that resources are better used, oceans are cleaned up and cocoa farmers in Ghana are supported.

The Jungle Bird is a joint project between JJs Manöverschluck and scarto cocktails.
scarto, originally started as a “food waste bar” in Bologna, now produces sustainable cocktails and liqueurs that taste exceptionally good and are good for the environment.
Their recipes are made by hand from fresh ingredients and are as sustainable as possible. In order to live up to this claim, a collaboration with KOA Impact was launched for the Jungle Bird.
KOA Impact processes the unused pulp of the cocoa fruit into delicious juice, which gives the Jungle Bird its tropical character.
